One of the goals of the Vancouver Dialogues Project is to engage youth involvement in all aspects of the project. As we work towards promoting greater cross-cultural understanding and relationship building, it is important that young people are an active part of the process.

A team of Youth Community Developers from both Aboriginal and immigrant/non-Aboriginal backgrounds assisted in engaging youth throughout the duration of the project. They supported youth participation in various initiatives, including the dialogue circles, community surveys, cultural exchange visits, and Youth & Elders program. The Youth Community Developers were: Jorge Salazar, Nasra Mire, Herb Varley, Heather Forbes, Sade Scott, Cameron Parnell, Cheyenne LaVallee, Arman Zamani, Josiane Anthony, Margaret Joseph, Ambrose Williams, Kevin Abrahams and Brad Sparrow. Youth engagement was led by Lanny Libby
